(Luxurious holiday villa in Arriate, near Ronda, Spain)

This charming, luxury holiday villa sits on a gently sloping olive grove, with its rooms laid out over three levels.

The house’s main level contains an open central patio, around which there is access to the spacious living room with fireplace, a terrace with beautiful views of the Sierra de Grazalema and Ronda, the dining room (the dining room table comfortably seats 10 people), a large designer kitchen with eating area, a powder room, and one guest room with bathroom. The hall way on an intermediate level provides access to two additional bedrooms each with bathroom. The master bedroom is located upstairs. It has a large bathroom and a private terrace with gorgeous views of the sierra and into the house’s patio and garden. An additional bedroom, which doubles as the TV and game room with sitting area and a bathroom, is on the lower level. There is storage and a utility room for washer, dryer, additional freezer, and a second refrigerator on the lower level. The house also has a separate basement area with a spacious sauna, shower and toilet, and exercise equipment.

The villa was built in elegant Andalusian style with marble floors, under floor central heating, antique Spanish doors and high, sloped ceilings. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for warmer weather. The proprietors owned a well-known Spanish restaurant in Manhattan, so the ability to entertain family, friends and guests, and to enjoy fine cooking and dining were primary goals taken into consideration, when this villa was designed.

The sloping garden covered by expansive grass surfaces blends into an olive grove with over 80 old olive trees and a vegetable garden near a small creek. The protected and private pool area with a 10 by 4 meter salt water pool is located in the rear of the house. The pool has its own shower and bathroom building as well as a covered bar counter and grill for pool side barbequing. The pool is open from May till October.

The villa is accessible through a remote controlled iron gate on a small driveway that leads up to the house. The property is located 1.5 km away from the charming, rural village of Arriate and 8 km from historic Ronda. Ronda is located 1 hour by car from the airport of Málaga , 45 minutes from Marbella and the Costa del Sol, as well as 1 hour and 15 minutes from the center of Sevilla. The scenic Serranía of Ronda is well-known for its magnificent views, beautiful hiking trails and the famous white mountain villages. In addition, one can comfortably reach Granada (one and a half hours), Córdoba (2 hours), as well as the endless white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean near Tarifa.

This magnificent holiday villa can be rented for a minimum of 1 week during the months of March through November. Weekly rentals range from €2.000 to €2.950 Euros, which includes towels, bed linen and daily maid service (2 hours per day, except on Sunday and holidays).
